The Truth of Two Kingdoms – Where in the World is God?

Pastor John Brint shares a message.

Some signs that might indicate the kingdom we might be leaning toward, the kingdom of Satan, or the Kingdom of God.

  1. Who is number one in my life? Who or what do I worship?
  2. Do I love God with all of my heart, with all my soul and all my strength?
  3. How do I see myself before God? As a pretty good person and worthy of God’s presence or as a bankrupt before God and in desperate need of a savior?
  4. What is my appetite for God and His Word?
  5. Am I merciful toward those who might have done me wrong, or do I always demand justice?
  6. How do I treat those who mistreat me?
  7. Do I have trouble with my secret thoughts or do I just excuse myself and go on?
  8. Am I quick to rty to reconcile with those who have ought with me, or do I just forget about those who might have something against me?
  9. When I do charitable things, do I do them simply to please God or do I do them to get the applause of others?
  10. When I face challenges in my life, do I trust God the help me face that challenge, or do I spend my time and energy worrying about them?
  11. When I see those who have short comings in their life, do I seek to understand their situation, or do I unjustly judge them, without first looking at my own faults?
  12. Honestly, do I treat others just the way I would like others to treat me?
  13. Do I show love to others just like Jesus has shown me love?
  14. Honestly, do I have a corrupt, immoral mind and thoughts, or is my mind and thoughts as clean as God and Jesus’?
  15. In everything that I do, is it my intent to glorify God, to make Him look good before the world in which I live?
  16. During my day, is my primary concern upon the things of this world, which is temporal; or is it upon heavenly things, things that are eternal?
  17. What are the controlling thoughts in your life? Are you controlled by the things that your flesh craves?
  18. How charitable are you toward those who are in need of physical help?

“If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and will heal their land.”

“People of Isreal, return to the Lord… do not be stiff necked, … serve the Lord your God… Return to the Lord… and He will show compassion on you. He will not turn his face from you if you return to Him.”

“Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before your God… I have heard you, declares the Lord, I will gather you in peace… and you will not see the disaster I am going to bring on this place.”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your path straight.”

“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces (or turns away from) them, finds mercy.”

“Repent of your sin, quit sinning and bring forth proof (or evidence) of repentance.”

“Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near at hand.”

“Deny themselves and take up your cross daily, and follow Him.”

“Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus, for the forgiveness of your sins. and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit…. and this message is for all whom our Lord our God will call.”
