Romans 15:4, 13 Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope… May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Colossians 1:25-27 I have become the church’s servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness – the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ IN You, the Hope of Glory!
Hebrews 6:10-12 God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not have, we wait for it patiently.
1 Corinthians 15:19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.
