1 Corinthians 12:4-11 There are different kinds of GIFTS, but the same SPIRIT. There are different kinds of SERVICE, but the same LORD. There are different kinds of EFFECTS [working], but the same GOD works ALL of them in ALL men.
WHO ARE THE QUALIFIED?
Now to”EACH ONE” the manifestation [exhibition, display, demonstration], of the SPIRIT is given for the COMMON GOOD [to bring together, to be profitable for ALL].
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFIED GIVEN?
To one there is given through the SPIRIT the MESSAGE of WISDOM [ability to explain life from God’s perspective]. To another by means of the same SPIRIT, the MESSAGE of KNOWLEDGE [to make clear the moral distinction between good and evil].
To another FAITH [conviction of truth], by the same SPIRIT.
To another GIFTS of HEALING by that ONE SPIRIT.
To another MIRACULOUS POWERS.
To another PROPHESY [speaking strength, encouragement].
To another DISTINGUISHING of SPIRITS [discernment].
To another SPEAKING in DIFFERENT KINDS of TONGUES [languages].
To another the INTERPRETATION of TONGUES.
WHO DECIDES WHO GETS WHAT?
ALL of these are the WORK of ONE and the SAME SPIRIT, and HE GIVES them to EACH ONE, just as HE DETERMINES.
WHO RECEIVED THE GLORY?
WHO RECEIVES THE BLESSINGS?
