Awe – Full

Awe – Full

Acts 2:41-47
Those who accepted Peter’s message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

How does the church express the awe filled power and presence of the Holy Spirit?

1) Does it teach, train, and expect obedience to what Jesus taught?

2) Does it personify a loving family environment that invites others to belong to Jesus?

1 John 4:7-8 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

3) Does it present a joyful and yet reverent worship experience of Jesus?

4) Does it have a desire for others to know Jesus?
