Hope’s Companions

The Expectancy of Something Good!

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three things remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Faith is the conviction that what God says is true and is confirmed by consistent testimony of salvation by Christ.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hope is the expectancy of something good experienced both now and later and is a relational term meaning to possess great trust in God’s promises. Hope and faith promotes love between God and other believers who are the recipients of God’s powerful Spirit living in them.

Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

When love relationships are established it links us to a menagerie of joyful relationships that are based on a Spirit of peace between God and one another.

Psalm 133:1 How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.
