Revelation 5:8-10 When He took the scroll, [the victorious Lamb, the Lion from the tribe of Judah], the 4 living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song:
You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals;
Because You were slaughtered, and You redeemed people for God by Your blood.
From every tribe and language and people and nation.
You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.
· MVCOG operates under the umbrella and in agreement with Church of God based in Anderson, ID.
· MVCOG has a governing Board chosen from its membership, responsible for maintenance of building & grounds, and financial oversight.
· MVCOG began in 1998, dedicating “Noble Hall” May 4, 1999 as the Sanctuary; [later named in honor of pioneering Pastor Jim & Nita Noble].
· October 1999 they enlisted the current Lead Pastor.
· May 2005 we began construction of new Sanctuary.
· September 2006 we occupied the new Sanctuary.
MVCOG is a special TRIBE made up of DIVERSE people who believe in Christ Jesus as Lord of life.
We uphold the BIBLE as God’s inspired and true Word.
We believe the Holy Spirit EMPOWERS all with gifts.
We heed the call to be SALT [Sacred Army of Lasting Truth]; and
LIGHT [Living Images of God’s Holy Traits], by reflecting God’s love and power. Working to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission [Matthew 28:19-20].
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
