A Life to Recall

1 Corinthians 11:24-26 “And when Jesus had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is given for; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.

Christ’s death RECALLS all life.

Acts 2:17-21 In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on ALL people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on My servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

Christ’s death ISSUES anointing.

John 14:15-17 If you love Me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives WITH you and WILL BE IN you.

Christ’s death PROMOTES empowerment.

John 16:13-14 When He, the Spirit of truth comes; He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is to come.

Acts 1:8 You WILL receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
