DEVOTED TO CHURCH GROWTH<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cBREAKING BREAD\u201d – Acts 2:42<\/strong> They devoted themselves to the breaking of bread<\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 11:23-29<\/strong> The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, \u201cThis is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.\u201d In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, \u201cThis cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me. \u201d For whenever you eat the bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord\u2019s death until he comes. Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself.<\/p>\n

One must examine himself and be FAMILIAR<\/span> with the body and blood covenant of the Lord before involvement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Matthew 26:26-28<\/strong> Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples saying, \u201cTake and eat; this is my body.\u201d Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them saying, \u201cDrink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whenever we eat the bread and drink the cup we PROCLAIM<\/span> the Lord\u2019s death until He comes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1Corinthians 15:12-14<\/strong> If it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead. If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is our faith.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
