There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but is it the same God who does the work in ALL of us. A spiritual gift is given to EACH of us so <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">we can help each other<\/span>.* To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He gives<\/span> one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He gives<\/span> someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">is given<\/span> the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">is given<\/span> the ability to interpret what is being said. It is the one and only <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Spirit who distributes ALL<\/span> these gifts. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">HE alone decides which gift each person should have.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spiritual gifts are not given for the individual recipients\u2019 _______________ but to help each other.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>1 Peter 4:10-11<\/strong> God has given <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">each of you<\/span> a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">well<\/span> to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to Him forever and ever!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ephesians 4:11-12<\/strong> Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church; the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">responsibility<\/span> is to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">EQUIP<\/span> God\u2019s people to do <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">His<\/span> work and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">build up<\/span> the body of Christ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 12:4-11<\/strong> Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ\u2019s body (the church). We are many parts of ONE body, and we ALL belong to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">each other<\/span>. In His grace, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">God has given<\/span> us different gifts for doing certain things <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">WELL<\/span>. So if <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">God has given<\/span> you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">God has given you<\/span>. If your gift is serving others, serve them <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">WELL<\/span>. If you are a teacher, teach WELL. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If God has given you<\/span> leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have the gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don\u2019t just pretend to love others! <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Really love them!<\/span> Hate what is wrong!
